Rooted in the teachings of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, I offer students the chance to explore the ranges of their body and the depths of their mind
Ashtanga is traditionally practiced at each student’s own pace within a group setting, allowing for individualized guidance and attention. My teaching spans a spectrum - from the traditional sequence and vinyasa count to personalized modifications using props when needed.
Each asana carries both a physical form and a deeper energetic structure. On the surface, alignment matters; on a subtler level, the asana supported with energetic locks, aka bandhas. I guide students toward safe and integrated alignment by supporting both proper form and the awakening of bandhas, allowing breath and energy to flow freely.
I currently teach Mysore-style Ashtanga yoga in person twice a week at The Ashtanga Collective in Boulder, Colorado. The Ashtanga Collective offers a full six-day Mysore program, exculding Saturdays and moon days. I hope to practice with you there 🙏
